ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Miranda is a Florida native, who earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami, where she completed a double major in Communications and Psychology, along with a minor in Business Administration. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During law school, she was actively involved in leadership and service, serving as President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), interning with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, participating in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, and contributing articles to the Journal of Law and Education.
Her legal practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, guiding clients through all phases of the litigation process; estate planning and deed recordings; intellectual property matters such as trademark and copyright registration, maintenance, and enforcement; as well as regulatory compliance. Miranda brings significant expertise in civil and business law, with a strong command of court procedures and litigation strategy. She regularly represents entrepreneurs and businesses in complex contract disputes and securities matters, including those involving investors and investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She is experienced in conducting trials, substantive motion practice, evidentiary hearings, discovery, negotiations, and legacy planning. She has successfully advocated for clients across a variety of industries, particularly in matters involving short-term rental operations; misappropriation, civil theft, and exploitation claims; fiduciary breaches, and securities investigations.
Miranda is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. She has also appeared in federal and state courts nationwide. She is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association. Outside of her legal practice, Miranda enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, engaging in church and community service, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
