Associate Partner, Financial Practice

Adam Stawara is an Associate Partner in the Firm’s Financial Practice Group, specializing in complex real estate transactions and securities offerings. He has represented clients in real estate transactions and securities offerings exceeding $1 billion in value.

Representative transactions include:

  • Represented an operator in the capital raise, debt financing, and acquisition of a student housing complex in Texas.
  • Represented a preferred equity provider in a capital raise and multifamily acquisition in the Mid-Atlantic, structured behind Agency Debt.
  • Represented a common equity provider in a capital raise and placement for a multifamily acquisition in the Midwest.
  • Provided Investment Review Opinion Letters for individual investors and groups, evaluating real estate investment structures.
  • Represented a mezzanine debt provider in a capital raise and placement for a multifamily recapitalization in the Midwest.
  • Represented an operator in structuring 1031 Partnerships in the Southeast.
  • Represented a hard money lender in the Midwest in forming an evergreen lending fund.

Adam earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as Executive Student Works Editor for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy. He also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Paul G. Byron in the Middle District of Florida.

He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Florida, where he held leadership roles in student organizations and was inducted into Florida Blue Key, the state’s oldest leadership honorary.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys traveling, attending Gator football games, and staying active.
