With an exceptional career spanning 35 years in accounting, auditing, and international advisory in Europe and the United States, Ian has established himself in the financial sector. Beginning his journey at Deloitte, Ian refined his skills in auditing and client management, setting a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
After eight years of invaluable experience at Deloitte, Ian ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing his own firm focused on accounting, auditing, and advisory services. Under his leadership, the firm grew to become a respected name in the industry, known for its integrity, precision, and innovative approaches to financial challenges. Ian also served on the boards of numerous corporations and was frequently called upon as a court-appointed expert witness in accounting and finance, leveraging his deep industry knowledge and reputation.
Since relocating to the United States in 2006, Ian’s career has seen him in strategic roles such as Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for various organizations. In these positions, Ian has been instrumental in steering companies through financial restructuring, compliance, and strategic expansion. His tenures as a CFO have been marked by significant improvements in financial transparency, operational efficiency and profitability.
Ian holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Malta Institute of Accountants and is a Certified Public Accountant (Malta).
